EMTEK, LLC designs and manufactures air sampling products for the detection of bacteria and mould in cleanrooms and other critical environments in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, hospital, pharmaceutical prescription, food and dairy industries. The industries served by EMTEK, LLC (EMTEK) must maintain strict control of critical environments to protect their products and patients. Therefore, these industries are constantly looking for products that can help monitor the environment for contaminants. In addition, many of the industries that EMTEK serves are required by regulation to conduct sampling for which we develop and supply products. This gives EMTEK an ongoing ability to supply products to monitor these environments.
EMTEK began in January 2009 when Eric Swenson, founder of Environmental Monitoring Technologies (EM Technologies, EMT), converted the business structure from a sole proprietorship to a limited liability company, or LLC, EMTEK, LLC. Thus, EMTEK is essentially EM Technologies, but in a new business structure. The company manufactures, services and supports a complete line of air sampling equipment originally designed, patented, manufactured and sold by Eric Swenson under his sole proprietorship as EM Technologies, which existed from 1997 to January 2009. Eric Swenson is the Managing Member and Vice President of Operations of EMTEK, LLC, has over twenty years of experience in environmental microbiology monitoring and is considered an expert in the field, and still has significant industry connections. This “hands-on” and “real-world” experience has allowed and continues to allow EMTEK to develop products needed and desired by industry. Current development plans include working with key suppliers involved in the latest RAPID MICROBIOLOGY technology, where EMTEK is looking for ways to integrate these Rapid technologies with EMTEK’s air sampling platforms.
As EMTEK is always looking to expand its product line to meet customer needs, with input from the industry, EMTEK continues to develop and redesign products to meet the needs of the industry.
