GG45 is an enhanced connector system that supports Category 8.2 cabling for 40GBASE‑T Ethernet over 30‑meter channels, using a proprietary design that incorporates additional contacts for higher frequencies. These channel adapters enable testing of the complete end‑to‑end channel, including equipment cords and patch cables, in accordance with ISO/IEC Class I/II and TIA‑568.2‑D standards. The pair allows dual‑ended testing on both ends of the link.
