The LR-Cal BT400-OX and LR-Cal BT800-OX pressure comparison test pumps are used to generate pressure for checking, adjusting and calibrating mechanical and electronic pressure measuring instruments (for oxygen applications) of all types by means of comparison measurements. These pressure tests can take place stationary in the laboratory or workshop, but also on site at the measuring point.
If the pressure gauge to be tested and a sufficiently accurate reference pressure gauge are connected to the LR-Cal BT400-OX or LR-Cal BT800-OX pressure comparison test pump, the same pressure acts on both gauges when the pump is actuated. By comparing the two measured values at any pressure values, the measuring accuracy can be checked or the pressure gauge to be tested can be adjusted.
The LR-Cal BT400-OX and LR-Cal BT800-OX pressure comparison testers (spindle pumps) are equipped with a finely actuated spindle wheel for exact approaching of the measuring points. The LR-Cal BT400-OX and LR-Cal BT800-OX pressure comparison test devices require only a fairly small amount of force.
Both pressure comparison test pumps are to be operated with distilled water. They are cleaned, free of oil and grease, and therefore ideal for testing pressure gauges for oxygen applications.
