The LR-Cal LAP-P electrical pressure test pump is used to generate electrical pressure (without manual effort) for checking, adjusting and calibrating mechanical and electronic pressure measuring instruments by comparative measurement.
If the measuring instrument to be tested and a sufficiently accurate reference measuring instrument are connected to the LR-Cal LAP-P electrical pressure test pump, the same pressure acts on both measuring instruments when the pump is actuated. By comparing the two measured values at any pressure values, it is possible to check the accuracy or adjust the pressure gauge to be tested.
Due to the integrated electric pump, the LR-Cal LAP-P enables automatic and exact test pressure generation with the option of switching to vacuum generation. For precise adjustment for accurate comparison testing, the LR-Cal LAP-P electric pressure test pump is equipped with a fine adjustment valve.
Both the test item and the reference pressure gauge (pressure calibrator) are mounted on top of the electrical calibration test pump, using suitable thread adapters if necessary (see Accessories).
No tools are needed to connect the measuring instruments to the pump; hand-tightening and tightening the instruments is quite sufficient.
