The LR-Cal LSP 1600-H pressure comparison test device is used to generate pressure for checking, adjusting and calibrating mechanical and electronic pressure measuring instruments of all types by means of comparison measurements. These pressure tests can take place stationary in the laboratory or workshop, but also on site at the measuring point.
If the pressure gauge to be tested and a sufficiently accurate reference pressure gauge are connected to the LR-Cal LSP 1600-H pressure comparison test pump, the same pressure acts on both gauges when the pump is actuated. By comparing the two measured values at any pressure values, the measuring accuracy can be checked or the pressure gauge to be tested can be adjusted.
For exact approaching of the measuring points, the pressure comparison test device (spindle pump) LR-Cal LSP 1600-H is equipped with a finely actuated spindle wheel. The device is characterized by a rotating spindle running only inside the pump body, thus eliminating a disadvantageous bending moment on a spindle that has been turned out. Especially for mobile use, there is also the advantage that the dimension of the pressure comparison test pump does not change during operation by turning the spindle. The LR-Cal LSP 1600-H pressure comparison test device requires only a very small amount of force.
To considerably reduce the risk of contamination of the operating medium, the pump is equipped with protective filters at the pressure connections and in the reservoir bottom. (Note: when operating with oil, the dirt strainer in the reservoir must be removed).
