The LR-Cal LSP 7000 pressure comparison test pump is used to generate pressure for checking, adjusting and calibrating mechanical and electronic pressure measuring instruments of all types by means of comparison measurements. These pressure tests can take place stationary in the laboratory or workshop, but also on site at the measuring point.
If the pressure gauge to be tested and a sufficiently accurate reference pressure gauge are connected to the LR-Cal LSP 7000 pressure comparison test pump, the same pressure acts on both gauges when the pump is actuated. By comparing the two measured values at any pressure values, a check of the measuring accuracy or an adjustment of the pressure gauge to be tested can be carried out.
For exact approach of the measuring points, the LR-Cal LSP 7000 pressure comparison test devices (spindle pumps) are equipped with a finely actuated spindle wheel. The devices are characterized by a rotating spindle running only inside the pump body, thus eliminating a disadvantageous bending moment on a turned-out spindle and, especially for mobile use, there is also the advantage that the dimension of the pressure comparison test device does not change during operation by turning the spindle. The LR-Cal LSP 7000 pressure comparison test devices require only a very small amount of force, you can also reach 7,000 bar without a pressure converter, i.e. simply by turning the spindle in directly.
