System designed to verify the calibration status of air samplers. The advantage of this instrument is that the control can be performed directly by users without the assistance of service centers. This instrument does not calibrate air samplers. Calibration must be performed only by authorized service centers.
This base station verifies air flow accuracy to determine if the air sampler is operating within calibration values. Also functions as a standard induction charging device.

The SELFTEST system is designed to verify air flow rate accuracy. Such control is necessary to exclude the risk of test invalidation between annual certification checks. Operating principle is similar to VERITEST: the system measures the vacuum created by the air sampler during air aspiration through the bell mounted on the head. The differential pressure sensor compares obtained values with reference values stored in TRIO.BAS memory. Results are displayed on the screen:
OK — instrument is calibrated, WARNING or ERROR — calibration does not meet standards.
Test result is automatically saved in sampler memory.
