The instruments are rugged microprocessor-based devices used for determining molten bath temperature. Three sequential indicators are located on the front panel to display measurement phases for the operator. The instruments are equipped with a self-testing system to enhance reliability.
The digital manometer may be equipped with an integrated digital printer that automatically prints the measured value, as well as the date, hour and minute of the event. Additionally, the cast number and measurement location identification code may be printed. The internal printed circuit includes a rechargeable battery for the internal clock.
