At the core of the instrument is a high-performance single-chip microcomputer, which uses high-precision measurement sensors and various intelligent data processing technologies. Therefore, our instruments can guarantee consumers stable long-term operation and interference protection.

Key features:

• The thermocouple rod operates on rechargeable batteries charged from 220V mains
• The portable instrument for molten metal temperature measurement features universal disposable thermocouple connection. You can program it for type S, R, B or W (factory default setting: type S). We recommend using MIRKIP 604 disposable immersion thermocouples
• The probe supplied with the rod has a modular design with immersion working length up to 1000mm, enabling use of disposable thermocouples up to 1000mm for various furnace/ladle sizes. The contact block connects to the indicator via insulated cable – excess length can be stored in the tube for compact operation
• The contact block for disposable thermocouples is interchangeable depending on your thermocouple type
• We include a spare contact block since at high temperatures, the block is exposed to thermal stress during thermocouple burnout and eventually fails

Accurate and rapid temperature measurement can be performed under various melting conditions by connecting the appropriate thermocouples to the instrument.

The WK-100 temperature indicator is integrated with a thermocouple tip. Due to harsh operating conditions and high temperatures, the temperature sensor is designed to be impact-resistant, featuring a hi-lite LED and an all-metal housing. This ensures the long service life of the temperature indicator.

The WK-100 has the following functions:

• Automatic temperature storage.
• Prompt: simultaneous light and sound indication.
• Alarms for thermocouple breakage, out-of-range measurements, low voltage, etc.
• Uses a nickel-metal hydride rechargeable battery capable of performing over 1,000 tests on a single charge.
• Automatic power-off after being turned on if no signal is received for more than 2 minutes.

This instrument is compatible with five types of thermocouples. The latest interference protection features have been applied. Temperature measurement can be carried out in an intermediate frequency furnace with the power on.
