Description of SUTO S453

The S453 compressed air flow meter is specifically designed for use in high-stress and potentially explosive (Ex) environments, providing accurate and reliable thermal mass flow measurements for your industrial processes. This device combines advanced technology with a robust design to ensure optimal performance in the most demanding conditions.

Due to the use of stainless steel and nickel-plated components, the S453 offers high resistance to aggressive environments. Its IP67-rated housing makes it suitable for outdoor and industrial applications.

The device offers high accuracy: the error is ±(1.5% of reading + 0.3% of full scale) with a repeatability of 0.25%. The built-in color display and the S4C-FS app for Android and iOS allow for easy on-site verification and wireless configuration.

The built-in data logger records and stores measurement data. Advanced connectivity options are provided by multiple outputs, including Modbus/RTU, 2 x 4–20 mA, pulse/alarm, and Modbus/TCP via Ethernet/APL.

The S453 flow meter supports pipe diameters from DN25 to DN80 with threaded or flanged connections. It operates at pressures up to 5.0 MPa for non-explosion-proof versions and up to 1.6 MPa for versions certified for hazardous areas.
